Disdain 03:27
I want to wash this disdain from my body Give me a deeper wound and I shall be released Is it confronting the places I’ve been Just a little bit concerning where my life’s heading You lose all the best people First in line oh it cuts like a knife Let it cut like a knife Is it confronting the places my mind’s been Just a little bit concerning we’re not learning That life is good life is sweet Take a bath have something to eat Go for a walk call a friend Wake up in the morning and do it again Oh what a time to be alive Steadily walking towards our demise I drove all night To clear my mind I drove all night To save my life Is it confronting the places my mind’s been A little bit concerning where we’re all heading

Has it crossed your mind You will surely die Taken in the night There’s no time for good bye’s Everybody knows when you’ve got new clothes Take another picture It’ll last longer Than you or I Has it crossed your mind Has it crossed your mind You’ve been breaking all the rules And i’ve been such a fool Show me to the good people I’ve been wasting time Has it crossed your mind Has it crossed your mind Has it crossed your mind You will surely die You will surely die You will surely die Taken in the night There’s no time for goodbyes Has it crossed your mind Has it crossed your mind Have you lost your mind Has it crossed your mind

Half Light 04:05
Half light half dark Half strange half smart Half funny half kind Half losing mind Half cooked half sore Half questioning it all Half gone has been Half why am I here again Half broke half skinny half take me back to the beginning Half trying half scared Half blaming your head Half serious half accepting half choking on regrets and half truths half lies half blood shot eyes Half dream half sleep Half deeper than you think Half ghost half real Half sex appeal Half you half me Nothing was meant to be Half deranged half resentful Half missing your eventful self Half don’t care why Half trying not to cry Half playing the game Half losing it all in vain Half fucking half making love Half both trying to get off Of this train and into the city They say that’s where the living happens to be

Easy I Fall 03:01
If you want to fuck me then just tell me that you love me Don’t you know how easy I fall For your rhymes and reasons it’s the changing of the seasons Babe we’ve been through it all I’ve been trying to tell you that I’m leaving I am trying to tell you that I am grieving and there’s no room for you There is no room for two Oh tell me your stories though I find them really boring Oh I can see that you’re trying To win my affections but see I’ve go these afflictions All I do is hang my head and cry I’ve been trying to tell you that I’m leaving I am trying to tell you that I am grieving and there’s no room for you There is no room for two All through the summer time I laughed It was in winter the she left Time doesn’t heal anything Don’t you see it’s just the beginning
5.
That was so sweet just the other night You called me just to see if I was alright You said you didn’t know if id be dead or alive You said you worry so much about me sometimes Wont you come over we can drink and sing Don’t you think it’s been a long time since we’ve been happy Are you happy? You said you didn’t know if id be dead or alive You said you worry so much about me sometimes I’ll never be the woman that you want me to be A sweet home maker a life creator But I’m a sweet love maker I will never never fake it You said you didn’t know if id be dead or alive You said you worry so much about me sometimes You’re sticking around that a good sign You’re not joking around that’s a good sign. You said you didn’t know if id be dead or alive You said you worry so much about me sometimes

You’re going to the devil down below Take your trouble with you And your ego There’s no going back now Bad habits engrained Oh get ready for eternity in flames They’re coming for oceans they’re coming for your blood The world is turning into and plastic mud pit Educate the woman fear all the chumps Don’t you get the feeling that enough’s enough Get your head straight Get your head straight They say that I’m ill my minds a mess I think I see clearly I just don’t want to be a part of it But I don’t know what to do now I lay helplessly hoping that ill die like the cows you like to eat Careful what you ask for you say to me Careful what you hope for it might just come to be Get your head straight Get your head straight It’s hard to be good it’s hard to be kind do your best to find peace of mind Try to be good try to be kind do your best to find peace of mind It’s hard to be good it’s hard to be kind do your best to find peace of mind Try to be good try to be kind do your best to find peace of mind Get your head straight Get your head straight Get your head straight Get your head straight

If only we had a little more time To talk about us to ease our minds It’s getting late the bottle shops are closed I wish we could drink wine take off our clothes Forget about the world Forget about the world Forget about the world Forget about It’s getting late the train’s about to go My love if I could I’d forget about you

about

This EP was recorded over 2 years between Melbourne and Newcastle, Australia from Sound Park Studios in Melbourne to a tiny caravan in Castlemaine and finally a tractor shed in Cessnock, NSW. It involves many peoples hard work and creativity. I am indebted to the wonderful and supportive friends, family and musicians i am surrounded with.

I wrote the songs in a difficult period of my life. I was shedding expectations of who i thought i was meant to be as a person, woman, musician, lover, friend. i was disillusioned by the world and society. It's interesting to me that through writing these songs it has brought me closer to the ones around me and larger community and in turn reignited my love for life.
